Dr. Francis P. Murphy

Francis P. Murphy, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist who practices medical and surgical dermatology. He earned his M.D. degree from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1992. He did his medical internship at N.Y.U./Bellevue, and his dermatology residency at the Weill-Cornell Medical College in N.Y. He completed a post doctoral research fellowship at The Rockefeller University in psoriasis, molecular genetics and skin aging. Upon completion of his training in 1999, Dr. Murphy was invited to head the Division of Dermatology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/U.M.D.N.J. in New Brunswick, N.J. He spent the next five years in academia, where he was successful at creating a dermatology residency training program in New Brunswick, and for transforming the division into a Department of Dermatology. Since 2005, Dr. Murphy has been in private practice in both Florida and New York. He was a partner at the Boynton Beach Skin Institute, and Director of Pineapple Grove Aesthetics in Delray Beach. Dr. Murphy is a native of north Rockland County. He is excited to serve the dermatologic needs of the medical community in Orange County.

Christine Doering RPA-C

Christine Doering RPA-C, a New Windsor native, has been practicing as a Dermatology Physician Assistant for nearly twenty years. She first trained and worked with the late Dr. Burton Allyn and has been with Dr. Murphy for the past ten years. Christine's special interests in her field include performing comprehensive full skin exams for the detection and prevention of skin cancers, as well as developing effective plans for the treatment of acne for teens and adults alike. Outside the office, you will most likely find Christine spending time with her family and friends. Her interests and hobbies include interior design, cooking, reading mystery novels, biking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Caroline Raftopol PA-C

Caroline Raftopol PA-C joined Murphy Dermatology & Aesthetics in March 2021. She hails from Westchester County and is a graduate of the Mercy College Physician Assistant program. She has over 8 years of experience in dermatology. Ms. Raftopol sees patients of all ages for various skin conditions and performs skin cancer screenings. Additionally, she offers cosmetic services such as wrinkle-reducing injections and laser skin rejuvenation treatments to her patients. When not in the office, you can usually find Caroline with her family and cats, doing DIY craft projects or learning about astronomy in her spare time.
